KSD Studio Monitors Partner with Audio Retailer Sound Pure

[Durham, NC – May 13, 2025]

German audio company KSD Studio Monitors, known for their hand-crafted loudspeakers and innovative DSP technology, has partnered with audio dealer Sound Pure to expand their North American retail network. The collaboration brings KSD’s full product line to Sound Pure, including the precision-engineered A200mk2 3-way active monitors and C55 Reference monitors released earlier this year. Professional audio engineers and producers can now experience KSD’s renowned sonic accuracy through arranged in-studio demonstrations or by scheduling a listening session at Sound Pure’s professional Durham facility.

“Sound Pure has a well-earned reputation for curating the very best of both vintage audio gear and “new classics” for their clients, and we are more than pleased to have them add KSD Studio Monitors to their lineup,” says Eric Larsen, KSD Brand Manager. “Working with the team at Sound Pure is simply the icing on the cake. Their expertise and passion are exceptional.”

KSD’s entire product range, employing the patented, phase-linear FIRTEC system filters for ultra-low latency and phase-aligned accuracy, is now available at Sound Pure.

About KSD Studio Monitors

KSD Studio Monitors are the premier designers of German-made, handcrafted loudspeaker systems. Recognizing a need for a time-aligned studio monitor free of latency, KSD founder Johannes Siegler, together with his mentor and partner Dieter Klein, began researching a solution to such a challenge over twenty-five years ago. His tenacity and steadfast commitment to exploring DSP technology in a studio setting led to the invention and patenting of KSD’s groundbreaking FIRTEC technology in 1994. Designed to the exacting standards of Germany’s Tonmeister specifications, FIRTEC employs phase-linear filters on custom FPGAs for low-latency, accurate, and tonally neutral delivery across the entire frequency range.

In 1996, Siegler and his colleagues brought the first digitally equalized studio monitors to market, with the development and production of their landmark ADM2. The team at KSD Studio Monitors continues to set the standard for unparalleled precision, tonal neutrality, and imperceptible latency in their range of product offerings, all of which are designed in-house and handmade in Saarbrücken, Germany.
